Norrköping Art Museum

Norrköping Art Museum (Norrköpings Konstmuseum) is a place for encounters, dialogue, learning and experiences. It is home to one of the foremost collections of Swedish modernism and also houses an international collection of prints and works on paper. The print collection consists of works from the 15th century to the present day and includes artists such as Dürer, Rembrandt and Goya.

Many of the internationally renowned 19th and 20th century Swedish artists are represented in the museum, among them Carl Larsson, Isaac Grünewald, Sigrid Hjertén, Olle Bærtling, Lena Cronqvist, Maria Friberg and Cecilia Edefalk.

As well as offering a retrospective, the museum’s exhibitions reflect current developments on the contemporary art scene.

A beautiful sculpture park surrounds the museum. Important works of many of Sweden´s most prominent sculptors are on display here, like Carl Milles, Bror Hjorth and Arne Jones.

The museum hosts a programme of events, including guided tours and other educational initiatives, to help deepen visitors’ knowledge of the works being exhibited, thus making each visit more memorable. The Krumeluren visual workshop is the museum’s creative hub. Norrkoping Art Museum collaborates with local societies, organisations, schools and universities.
